Specification Bandpass filter
The narrow bandpass filters are used in combination with a machine vision camera and lens. Each machine vision lens has a filter thread to mount a bandpass filter. At the peakwavelength the transmission is above 90%. At the useful wavelength the transmission is above 80%. These bandpass filters are used to remove unwanted light frequencies, resulting in a more stable and sharper image.

Important notes for combination with C-mount lens
To mount this filter you can use a tweezer or our special tool:
TOOL-KNIPEX-CMT-FLT-V1
This filter works with all C-mount lenses we offer, but for some lenses a 1mm extension ring is required
A 1mm extension ring is included when ordering this filter.
When using the lens LCM-5MP-35MM-F1.4-1.5-ND1, the filter inside the camera has to be removed first
Important notes for combination with M12 lens
First remove at your own risk the protective filter inside the camera using this tool:
TOOL-KNIPEX-CMT-FLT-V1
Mount the C-mount filter
Use our C-mount to m12 adapter:
LADAP-C-TO-M12-V2 to mount the m12 lens
This only works if the backfocal length of the lens is larger than 5.9mm. The following M12 lenses are tested ok:
- LM12-12MP-1.85MM-F2.0-1.8-FISH
- LM12-12MP-03MM-F2.0-1.7-HD1
- LM12-5MP-05MM-F2.5-1.8-LD1
- LM12-10MP-05MM-F2.5-2.3-ND1
- LM12-5MP-06MM-F2.8-1.8-ND1
- LM12-5MP-08MM-F2.8-1.8-ND1
- LM12-5MP-12MM-F2.8-1.8-ND1
- LM12-10MP-12MM-F2.5-1.5-ND1
- LM12-5MP-16MM-F2.0-2-ND1 (up to workingdistance of 2 meter)
- LM12-5MP-25MM-F2.4-2-ND1
- LM12-10MP-25MM-F2.5-1.5-ND1
- LM12-10MP-35MM-F2.8-1.5-ND1
- LM12-10MP-50MM-F4.0-1.5-ND1
It does not work with the following M12 lenses:
- LM12-5MP-02MM-F2.0-3-MD1
- LM12-16MP-03MM-F2.5-2.3-HD1
- LM12-5MP-03MM-F2.8-2-ND1
- LM12-10MP-16MM-F2.2-1.5-ND1
